Food delivery apps

I'm not sure what category to post this under, but I was just curious to know if anyone out there used any of the popular food delivery apps that are available these days and how you like them. I just read an article about how more and more restaurants were starting to deliver, but I wonder what condition my meatball sandwich might be in if it takes an hour to get from the restaurant to me. Maybe I should just order doughnuts...

I've not had bad experiences when using grub hub. However, their iPhone app is currently pretty annoying to navigate through, so I would not recommend it. I'm not sure about the state of their android app. Their website interface is perfectly useable though, and some day I need to get around to trying their apple TV app. Anyway, give it a shot, see what you think.

I use DoorDash, and their app is very accessible. The only tricky part for me was signing up. I had to sign up through the website using my laptop, but after that, I was able to log into the app and use it from there to order my food. I' e only used it twice so far, but both times, I've gotten meals that included both hot and cool parts, and both were fine in temperature, texture, and taste. I'd.

It is pretty much depends on what kind of food you want, and from where you ordering it.
Fast food delivery service such as Pizza Hutt and Dominos etc etc already have their food
delivery app for some years now.
Of course, there are other apps that specific develop to order and deliver food for different
cities and countries even. In fact, Uber these days even has an app call UberEATS that let
you order and deliver food to your door.
Most app will tell you how long it will take to get for your food to arrives, and again, that
is very depending on the distant, and the type of the food itself.

I'm going to try those, because carry out taxi and yelp eat 24 both bring my
food cold. it grosses me out.

Remember, a lot of these services are still trying to branch out. Uber Eats for example is still not available in a lot of places. So, don't be discouraged, maybe send them emails or something so that you can at the very least let them know about an area where they might start hiring drivers if there aren't any. A lot of places also have a service which will email you when they start making deliveries in your area. Sign up for those.
There are also a lot of restaurants that have started doing their own deliveries. Heck, even McDonalds is about to try to get into the delivery business soon, if that suits your taste buds. Personally, I'd rather chew on cardboard. Panera is another example of a chain that has started doing deliveries, and their food is downright delicious, if not a tad on the expensive side. I strongly recommend the broccoli cheddar soup! That's another place though where the app was inaccessible last I looked, though admittedly it's been a while. Their website is manageable though, and they do have a great rewards program which can offer some occasional nice discounts.

I tried using Grub hub once but at the time, only 1 or 2 places delivered.
On top of that, the place I tried ordering from didn't receive my order
through the app and so I had to take a uber to go pick up my food. Your
miles may very.
